WHAT'S IN A NAME
Local ownership and operation means holding on to your roots. Our name reflects our independence and 100% local ownership. More importantly, we remain true to our guests and our family while maintaining our great menu and service.
The Three Trees logo symbolizes our three sons and their growing families. We have watched our family grow strong and it brings us great joy every day!
The real story of Three Trees goes back to our Mom and times well spent at our family cabin. We had a special fishing spot that was our go-to place for an awesome time on the lake. On the shore, a cluster of pine trees stood out predominantly and marked the spot for us. After a wonderful afternoon, our Mom would be beaming and when asked where she’d been, she’d tell us she’d been to her favorite spot – the Three Trees. It was her favorite place and we hope you’ll make it yours as well.
MEET OUR STAFF
Jim
Partner
Jim was born and raised in Lloydminster and although he grew up in kitchens all his life, his staff has said he's not allowed in the Three Trees kitchen. You'll often find Jim around the restaurant visiting with guests, clearing tables, or doing general maintenance.
Jim and his wife, Glenda, are proud parents to three grown boys (Ben, Brett and Morgan) who have all started creating their own families. When Jim's not at Three Trees, you can find him at Loon Lake, which is the inspiration for the Three Trees restaurant name.
Marilyn & Gary
With over 40 years of hospitality experience, you bet Marilyn and Gary learned a thing or two about restaurants. Marilyn and Gary moved to Lloydminster in 1975 and have called it home ever since.
In July 2020, Gary passed away, leaving a place in the Three Trees family that will never be replaced. When facing decisions, we hear Gary's words of wisdom in our heads and we have the good fortune to have Marilyn's excellent perspective to share.
TAYLOR
Front of House and Admin Manager
Taylor does it all! She can manage, bartend, serve. She's been with the team since opening day.
When Taylor isn't at work, this life-long Lloydminsterite can be found golfing or playing ball or sharpening her curling skills . Family means everything to Taylor and we're glad she's part of the Three Trees family.
Ahmor
Chef
Joining the team all the way from Cebu, Philippines, Ahmor has been our Chef for over 3 years. She runs a tight ship and not only holds the back of house team together, but she is also responsible for all the mouthwatering food here at Three Trees.
Ahmor and her husband enjoy the great outdoors whenever she's not working on Three Tree's next culinary masterpiece.
